Wisdom from the Watershed will create a documentary describing the impacts that climate change has had on the land and wildlife of the Peel Watershed over recent decades. A group of seven young Gwich’in hunters will take twenty students from Chief Julius School in Teetl’it Zheh on a journey into the Peel Watershed. Elders with years of experience on the land will join them, describing the changes they have seen on the land over their lives. The documentary and short personal video stories will be shared online to broaden the discussion about climate change in Canada’s north.
