Empowering Northern Voices envisions a gathering that empowers northern youth to use their voices, fostering connections that enhance community resilience and cultural pride. Workshops will build essential skills in leadership, advocacy, and community engagement. Participants will learn from local youth leaders, Elders, and other facilitators, gaining tools to become effective advocates for their communities. During the workshops they will collaboratively identify and develop solutions to pressing issues affecting northern youth, such as mental health, addictions, education, employment, and environmental sustainability. By engaging in meaningful activities and discussions, this initiative will inspire a new generation of leaders who are passionate about their culture, their communities, and the future of the North. Together, we will cultivate a vibrant, interconnected youth network that champions the unique needs and aspirations of northern youth, ensuring that their voices are heard and valued.
