The 2022 Call for Nominations is open! Spread the word!

Feeling inspired by the new Arctic Inspiration Prize Laureates and their incredible by the North, for the North projects? Well, the Call for Nominations is now open for the 2022 Arctic Inspiration Prize!

If you’re looking to submit a project for an Arctic Inspiration Prize, the first thing to do is to check out the Get Nominated page for a quick and easy walkthrough of the steps you need to take to submit a nomination.

Next, take a look at this year’s Nomination Guides and Nomination Templates to help you decide which category to apply for.

All projects must be nominated by one of the AIP’s official Ambassadors/Nominators. This helps to ensure the project has the support it needs from the community it’s intending to serve. Ambassadors/Nominators should not be connected to the project, but can help to mentor teams and provide advice and direction.

All you have to do is:

  1. Find and contact an AIP Ambassador/Nominator that is arms-length from your project (not connected in any way to the activities, outputs, funding or management/administration of the proposed project).
  2. Speak to them about your project, they can offer tips and tricks on how to put together your nomination package and help mentor you through the process.
  3. Ask them to provide a nomination letter, which you must include as part of your completed project nomination template.

Reminder: If you’re submitting a nomination in the Youth Prize category, you have the option of submitting part of your nomination in video format.

If you have any questions about the nomination process, don’t hesitate to reach out to the AIP team.
